Spearfish Brewing Company

Spearfish Brewing Company is a craft brewery and taproom in Spearfish. It pours a rotating selection of 16 modern and classic American craft beers. Its rotating lineup has ranged from a festbier and an apple ale to a lemon bar beer and barrel-aged releases, under names such as Bobcat Logic, Copper Midge, Chinook Water and Adventurepants. It was named a top-ten brewery of the year at the 2020 U.S. Beer Open Championships. Its rye beer, The Hills Have Ryes, won gold at the 2023 World Beer Cup and silver at the 2024 World Beer Cup, along with medals at the U.S. Beer Open, the International Beer Awards and the North American Brewers Association. Adventurepants, a near gluten-free beer, earned a U.S. Beer Open silver medal in 2023. The taproom kitchen serves paninis, flatbreads, wings and nachos.
